EYFS
Children are assessed at the end of Reception using the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile. Children achieve a Good Level of Development if they achieve at least the expected level in the early learning goals in the prime areas of learning (personal, social and emotional development; physical development; and communication and language) and the early learning goals in the specific areas of mathematics and literacy.

KS1 Results
During Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2) children will be assessed using statutory assessments carried out by all state schools. The Phonics Screening Test is delivered in Year 1 and again in Year 2 to those children who did not meet the expected standard. At the end of Year 2 children are assessed by their teacher in the core subject, part of this assessment information is gathered from children’s performance in SATs (Standard Assessment Tests).
